8.12 Warrior Equipment
Although quite a lot of testing and work has been done, we finally conclude that the 8.12 version of the Warrior Equipment changes should be shelved. We think these are good designs, but because of the strength of the current version of the warrior and the recent changes, this time point is wrong. I hope that we can do this again at some time in the future. The preseason is the most likely option.
Considering the cancellation of these things, we apologize to those who are looking forward to these equipment, especially if you like to play warriors but not proficient or not enough equipment options. Give the player expectations but eventually give up, this kind of thing we have been trying to avoid. Despite the sadness, we still think that shelving is a must.
At 8.13 we will work to enhance the performance of some ADCs, focusing on heroes who are in desperate need of help, such as Jin Kesi, Cristina, and Wein. We want to get these crit ADCs to be a reasonable choice at least in the passers-by as soon as possible, rather than being homeless in the Summoner Canyon. However, we still want to maintain the new diversity of the current version of the road, so we do not want to adjust too much, returning to the road only the situation of the shooter.
From the recent hero performance, there is no clear best choice. Professional players have now tried a lot of new routines, and some have succeeded and some have failed. And some players also expressed their opinions on the dominance of non-shooters, although the passers-by in most areas are still very low.
For those struggling heroes, we plan to strengthen their performance in the 1-2 suites. It now seems that the weakening of the users of the crit packs is overdone, causing them to rely too much on the 3-piece if they want to contribute. Considering their late ability, we do think that these heroes should be weaker in the medium term, but the degree of weakness should not be as serious as it is now. These are also related to the diversity of the road, and the diversity of the road is very affected by the intensity of the pole. Therefore, strengthening the mid-term of the crit ADC can improve their situation and maintain some new diversity of the current road.
The middle road was originally a very interactive, interesting, and influential global line, but now it becomes very passive because of the development of the funnel. Players avoid interacting with others as much as possible and thus benefit from it. There may be unknown counter-measures in this strategy, but we suspect that even if developed, it can be effectively implemented like a funnel development, and these counter-measures may be boring in and of themselves. We didn't focus on this routine at first, because it wasn't certain at the time whether it was only applicable to special situations or versatile routines. If it was the former, it could bring some diversity. If it is the latter, we need to deal with it. It seems that this answer is the latter.
As for how to change, we are still testing the specific program. The possible changes were re-introduction of the high-level field experience penalty that was removed in version 8.10, the adjustment of some individual heroes (such as the damage of Juggernaut Q to the creeps), and the punishment of the wild equipment for the online creeps. There will be specific details.
